I just saw this announcement about a monthly online meet-up for facilitators and thought some people here might be interested:
Deepening the Art of Facilitating Consent
The online meet-up is for people who engage in facilitation, and who want a safe space to talk about the challenges, share insights, and explore their growing edges when facilitating groups whose basis for governance decisions is consent.
This peer-led group is offered by Circle Forward co-founders, Tracy Kunkler and Michelle Smith. We are all learners and teachers at different moments, and we look forward to sharing and exploring our collective toolkit!
THIRD THURSDAY of each month 12 – 1pm Eastern Time
Next call: Aug 16, 2018 Where are we growing?
Using the Group Works Deck to Explore our Learning Edges as Facilitators
We’ll use the Group Works deck that we explored in this group last year to reflect on our individuals facilitation styles, strengths and learning edges. We began an exploration the Group Works Deck last year in this group. This month we’ll revisit this tool to reflect on our individuals facilitation styles, strengths and learning edges.
The Group Works Deck is a freely available 91-card selection of exemplary patterns for what makes groups work. It is now being used as a practice tool by over 2,000 professional facilitators worldwide.
