Meeting practitioner commencing a PhD

I am a meeting practitioner. I work in the field of fisheries management - the last substantial commercially food resource hunted from the wild . I chair and facilitate all manner of meetings from meetings covering a small coastal fishery to those concerned with managing the largest tuna fishery in the world. I sit at the interface between industry, scientists/researchers, government and environmentalists. I have just commenced a PhD looking at fisheries governance, initially considering the role of consultative committees that provide advice to decision makers on conservation and management issues. I have chaired/facilitated
these for more than 20 years.

Hi Paul! Welcome to the forum! Glad you found your way here. What aspect of meetings are you investigating (or planning to investigate?)
